A letter from Paul Motley, Operations Manager of GoMeasure3D.
This year marks a significant milestone for GoMeasure3D as we celebrate our 25th year in business. We’re blessed to work with a great team of people. They have helped us get here and grow our company from what it was 25 years ago.
As a family-owned company, this anniversary is especially meaningful to me. It brings back a lot of great memories. My dad started GoMeasure3D—alongside my mom—when my brother, Alex, and I were young. Our upbringing was centered around immersing ourselves into the world of 3D scanning and CAD, as well as tinkering with any technology we could get our hands on. We’ve continued to pursue this passion ever since.
We believe that 3D scanning and measurement technologies can truly make a difference in transforming the way we work. This belief is why my dad started this company 25 years ago with the mission to make these solutions more accessible for companies—no matter how big or small. We’ve seen the wonderful success stories from our customers. We take pride in delivering excellent customer service and helping them take their businesses to the next level.
At GoMeasure3D, we only represent the products we truly believe in. We are a supplier of 3D scanning solutions (hardware and software) across the United States. We love introducing people to 3D scanning and showcasing what this amazing technology has to offer. It’s rewarding to see the expressions on their faces during our regular web demonstrations. We can feel their excitement as they see real-world objects being transformed into 3D digital reproductions right before their eyes.
3D Scanning to 3D Printing: Creating a digital twin of a squirrel head for academic and research purposes. We first scanned the real-world object using the Artec Micro and then used a 3D printer to replicate the specimen.
Our love for 3D scanning is what drives us to go above and beyond. Our technical team are avid users of the 3D scanners, scanning software, and accessories we offer. We extensively use these tools to fully understand their intricacies, helping our customers in achieving the best possible 3D scanning results in the fastest time.
Is it possible to perform 3D scanning and reverse engineering without using a laptop or desktop computer? We put this to the test by using the Artec Leo, Artec Cloud, and an iPad.
We’re truly thankful that our customers put their trust in us in helping them find the right 3D scanning solution for the job. Drawing on our two and a half decades of experience, we provide 3D scanning technologies to many customers in various industries, spanning automotive, education, casting, scientific research, medical, arts, heritage preservation, aerospace, military, and manufacturing.

We couldn’t have achieved this milestone without our partners. As Artec 3D and 3D Systems Authorized Partner, we serve clients across the United States. We are proud to announce that we have again achieved the status of Artec 3D’s Ambassador in 2024. We have achieved this status since the very beginning when the program was first introduced back in 2020. We’re grateful to the Artec 3D team, as well as all of our partners, for their support and recognition.
“As we celebrate our 25th year in the 3D scanning industry, our mission grows stronger and stronger every year. Since the beginning, we have wanted to make 3D scanning technologies more accessible. As always, we’re committed to ongoing learning and exploring new technologies to bring our customers the best in what 3D scanning has to offer. This milestone reaffirms our commitment to our customers and partners, driving us to elevate our standards, while consistently honing our craft.”
