Artec Studio 18 introduces an innovative and flexible Fusion technique called Smart Fusion. This feature facilitates the merging of data collected from various Artec 3D scanners, while also intelligently selecting the appropriate resolution for different regions to get the best results. Smart Fusion introduces a new option named Sharpness, granting users the ability to switch between Smooth and Sharp modes to attain their preferred outcomes.
4x Faster HD Mode for Artec Leo and Eva 3D Scanners
You can see in Artec Studio 18 that Artec 3D’s groundbreaking HD Mode for Artec Eva and Leo is continually being improved. Now faster and with a simplified UI, point density and frame frequency is adjusted for you. Draft angle is the angle or slope added to the vertical walls of a molded or cast part that allows it to be easily ejected from the mold or die. When 3D modeling or reverse engineering cast parts, you can now create a draft angle on their outer surfaces in Artec Studio without the need to transfer the data to a third party software.
