Artec Eva is an all-purpose 3D scanner that is fast and versatile, making it an essential 3D scanning device for a wide range of industries.

Versatility Meets Portability

Scanning with Artec Eva

Artec Eva 3D scanner is one of the bestselling professional handheld 3D scanners on the market due to its versatility, fast scanning speed, and its ability to produce accurate 3D scans.

It only weighs 0.9 kg / 2 lb, making it truly lightweight and portable. This handheld 3D scanner extends its portability in situations where you need to scan outside (like a scene of a car accident) or travel to objects that cannot be transported (like a museum).

The scanner is best suited for making quick, textured, and accurate 3D models of medium-sized objects such as a human bust, an alloy wheel, or a motorcycle exhaust system. It scans quickly, in high resolution and vibrant color, and it’s great for a diverse range of applications.

How it Works

Artec’s handheld technology operates similar to a video camera but it captures objects in 3D with continuous scanning. Simply turn it on and hover around the object for recording. The scanner provides you with real-time feedback, making the scanning process fast and simple. Monitor what sections of the object have been captured and which areas need more attention. The scans are aligned automatically in real-time to create a complete digital 3D model.

The Artec Eva uses structured-light 3D scanning technology. It scans 12 times faster than a laser 3D scanner, capturing and simultaneously processing up to 2,000,000 points per second.
