Looking for a quick way to significantly reduce the time needed to measure manufactured parts with a high degree of accuracy?

Monitoring Casting Molds, Tooling, and Dies
Monitoring Casting Molds, Tooling, and Dies

How do you efficiently pinpoint defects and wear in casting molds, tooling, and dies before they become potential manufacturing issues?

The Solution: Confident in every inspection with 3D digitization

Even the smallest imperfection can compromise performance, lead to costly recalls, or damage your reputation. Conventional inspection methods are slow at taking measurements. They often overlook minute defects that are difficult to catch.

Ditch the complexity to get better and more accurate results. With 3D scanning, you can capture measurements of a physical object with exceptional accuracy! Instantly compare 3D scanned data of a part against your CAD models to detect even the slightest deviations—before they become bigger problems.

With 3D scanning, you can:

  • Digitize Any Parts Fast

3D Parts Inspection – Scan to CAD comparison

Measurement deviations are shown when the two are put together.

In an ideal world every manufactured part would be an identical replica of the CAD model, the design blueprint of the part. In reality, every physical part that is manufactured has slight variations. Tolerances are acceptable deviations from the CAD model. By 3D scanning manufactured parts and comparing the measurements with the CAD model, we can determine whether the part meets acceptable tolerances. Comprehensive reports can be generated for further analysis using ZEISS INSPECT software. This solution is especially great for First Article Inspection (FAI) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) inspection.
