In this reverse engineering tips and tricks video, we demonstrate the benefits of reverse engineering using 3D scan data with texture (color) information. Artec Eva 3D scanner was first use to scan an object and the scan data is imported into SOLIDWORKS for reverse engineering scan data to a CAD model using XTract3D plug-in for SOLIDWORKS.
