How to Align 3D Scans Inside FlexScan3D 3D Scanning Software

Tom demonstrates for easy it is to align scan data inside FlexScan3D. A 3D scanner can only take 3D images of what its cameras can see. In order to create a digital model of the entire object, scans have to be taken at multiple angles. The scans are then cleaned up, aligned, and stitched together in order to create a complete digital model. Once post-processing is complete, export the data into standard file formats: PLY, OBJ, STL, ASC, FBX.
